About the Artist
"It gives my heart the greatest pleasure to collaborate with people around the world creating personal portraits that have sentimental value and a place to be, a home... before I even apply the brush to paper.
Let me tell you, from the moment I picked up a pencil I have been drawing people. I favored colored pencils in my youth. College years covered my hands in oils, pastels, and charcoal. A career in design followed. I learned computer skills on the job. This unexpected side road enabled me to teach myself digital portraiture. I am still teaching myself. Full circle.
Although I adore so many mediums, these most recent years of travel and packing light led me back to the basics of pencil portraits and to my colorfully playful petite watercolors. Custom portrait art keeps me connected wherever I go. "
